Frequently Asked Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

Please remit payment in U.S. funds via personal check, cashier's check, money order, or online through Paypal. Payment is due at the time of order. Your order will be shipped as soon as your personal check clears or as soon as funds are available. Sales tax will be added for Colorado sales or as your local laws require. Prices are subject to change.

What is your return policy?

Returns will be subject to a 10% restocking fee plus shipping. Damaged items, printed materials, and mouthpieces may not be returned (unless the mouthpiece is defective). No items may be returned after 10 days from date of sale.

Orders for custom instruments must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of 25% of the sale price.

Can my order be upgraded to expedited shipping?

Yes, with an additional charge. Please inquire for details.

May I order an instrument that is not currently available or not in stock?

Yes, we will make every attempt to meet your needs. Please call and let us know what you wish to have. Normally, a special order will take 2 or 3 months to complete, and there may be a small additional charge, depending on the specific order.

Can you build a horn the way I want it?

I can do nearly anything you wish. Please allow two or three months for manufacture, inspection and delivery.

In most cases, a personal visit to my shop is advised so I am able to fit the horn to you and your needs. I really love having people come to my shop to buy horns — it is a great way to fit them to the player.

A 25% non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of the order. If another instrument similar to the horn ordered is purchased, the deposit may be applied to that instrument. Please ask for price quote.

Is a case supplied with the instrument?

Yes.

Are parts for your instruments readily available?

Yes. Please call for availability and price.

May I come to your shop to try instruments?

Yes, Denver International Airport is only about a one-hour drive. Please contact me to make arrangements for a visit. Inventory availability is posted on the website, but please check with me personally if you plan a trip here. I really love having people come to the shop to buy horns. It's a great way to fit them to the player.

What instruments do you plan to offer in the future?

A new student line Bb trumpet is being made — have already worked through a couple prototypes and it should be ready very soon. It will be available in silver plate or lacquer finish. It also has a lyre and the attachment is not on the third valve slide. The third valve slide finger ring will be permanently attached and will be able to be used when the lyre is or is not being used.

This will be a high-quality instrument and yet suited for student use. The price will be much less than the professional models that I make. All these instruments will be personally inspected at the factory and again checked and adjusted at my shop in Eaton, Colorado, USA.
